Location / Directions

Moose Jaw Resort is located 22 miles east of Park Falls, and 20 miles west of Minocqua on Highway 70.

We are located in the Chequamegon National Forest near the Round Lake Wilderness Study Area which includes 4200 acres of land where only foot traffic is permitted. 

The resort is located on Round Lake, which is on the Pike Lake Chain (Pike, Round, Amik & Turner Lakes.) 2000 acres of water.

From the Milwaukee Area:

Take U.S. HWY 41 to HWY 110, then take Hwy 10 West to Stevens Point, Turn North on US 51 through Minocqua, Turn Left (West) on Hwy 70 go 20 miles to the Pike Lake Area, Turn Right (North) on Hwy 144. We are located 2 1/2 miles from Hwy 70.

From the Chicago area:

Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90 North) to Portage bypass 78/Interstate 39, Take US 51/Interstate 39 North through Minocqua, Turn Left (West) on Hwy 70 go 20 miles to the Pike Lake Area, Turn Right (North) on Hwy 144. We are located 2 1/2 miles from Hwy 70.

From the Minneapolis area:

Take Interstate 94 west to Eau Claire to Hwy 29 West, to Hwy 13 North at Abbotsford, Go North on Hyw 13 to Hwy 70 East at Fifield, Head East 19 miles to Forest Road 144, Go North 2 1/2 miles to our sign.
